About me.…

Hi I’m Chloe, and I am the sole business owner of Paws in the Pines. Having spent my whole life living within the New Forest National Park, I have always loved being outdoors, surrounded by animals and wildlife.

Whilst getting my A-levels, I spent 3 years as head kennel hand at a local boarding kennel before leaving for a gap year. A few years later I completed my degree in Wildlife Ecology and Conservation and I entered the industry as an assistant ecologist. However, I soon realised there was something missing from my life and that was dogs!

My ethos is to provide a friendly and reliable service to people in the local community, whilst also trying to minimise my impact on the environment and break the unfair stereotype of dogs being seen as a burden on wild spaces.

I have not lived a day of my life without owning a dog, and I currently own two rescue dogs of my own. I completely understand what a huge role they play in our lives and that they really are a part of the family.

I pride myself on running a business that is committed to taking the best care of both dog and human clients. I will always treat your dog as if they were my own and their safety and welfare will always be my top priority.

I have a distinction in Level 3 Animal Management, as well as having completed my training in Canine First Aid. I am also always looking to continue my education and professional development opportunities when they arise.
